FastSoft Names New VP of Marketing.

FastSoft, Inc., a Web acceleration software company, announced the appointment of Jerry Hall as vice president of marketing.

A 25-year veteran of the high-tech industry, Hall joins FastSoft from Silicon Valley-based consulting firm Forge Strategic Marketing where he provided strategic marketing advice and managed outbound marketing programs for a number of high-tech companies, the Company said.

"Jerry brings his extensive experience at venture-backed companies where his marketing skills have propelled them to the next level," said J. Edward Snyder, CEO of FastSoft. "I am pleased to have Jerry lead our marketing efforts during this growth phase for the company."

Previously, Hall held vice president of marketing positions at companies that include AirHop Communications, ProxiNet, NetBoost Corp., and Lantronix.

FastSoft spun out of the California Institute of Technology to supercharge the Internet for business. FastSoft's Origin Content Acceleration (OCA) software speeds dynamic page downloads by up to 150 percent.
